Guides

setup, start to finish

One guide per loader. Do the Required installs first — every guide below assumes they're already done.

BO7 External

5 steps · menu key Insert
  1. Reboot after installing the Required components. The loader checks for them on launch.
  2. Turn off real-time protection, then add your loader folder to Defender exclusions.
  3. Extract the archive with WinRAR. The password is in your order chat.
  4. Right-click Loader.exe → Run as administrator, then start the game in fullscreen borderless.
  5. Press Insert once you're in a match to open the menu.

Launch the loader before the game, never the other way round.

BO7 External V2

10 steps · menu key 0

External injection. Only start once your system is correctly prepared.

  1. Download the latest PORTAL Loader.
  2. Make sure you are not currently spoofed.
  3. Open the PORTAL Loader, enter your key and press Activate.
  4. Portal downloads a custom loader for you, which opens automatically. You only need Portal once. From now on, open the custom loader directly.
  5. Create an account, or log in to your existing one, using the same license key.
  6. Select BO7.
  7. Start the loading process.
  8. Wait until the loader displays Success.
  9. An error about Phone Dialer may appear. It's safe to ignore — press OK.
  10. Start Call of Duty. The menu appears automatically; the hotkey is 0.

Don't restart or reopen the loader while it's processing. Wait for a success message or an error code.

Controller setup

If you're using a controller, follow these carefully.

  1. Unplug your controller from your PC.
  2. Open the Loader.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. Pick your input method: Xbox controller, PlayStation controller, or Mouse & Keyboard.
  5. Continue with the normal injection process.
  6. Wait for the Success message.
  7. Launch Call of Duty.
  8. Wait until you reach the game's main menu.
  9. Plug your controller back in.

Your controller should now be detected normally.

Controller not working

If your controller isn't detected, doubles its inputs, or shows two controllers in-game, work through this.

Requirements

  • HidHide
  • ViGEmBus — the Loader normally downloads and installs this automatically. If it's missing, reinstall it before continuing.

HidHide fix

The Loader creates a virtual controller. HidHide hides your real physical controller while keeping the virtual one visible.

Let the Loader create the virtual controller before you hide your real one. Hide it too early and the virtual controller may not forward your inputs.

  1. Disconnect any external controller adapter or passthrough device.
  2. Make sure only your physical controller is connected.
  3. Open the HidHide Configuration Client.
  4. Go to the Devices tab.
  5. Find your physical controller and note its exact name. Don't hide it yet.
  6. Continue with the normal injection process.
  7. Wait for the Loader to create the virtual controller.
  8. Open HidHide again — you should now see a second controller with a similar name.
  9. Hide the original physical controller by checking its box.
  10. Leave the new virtual controller visible.
  11. Restart Call of Duty if needed.

Verify

Open Gamepad Tester, or check inside Call of Duty. Only one controller should show. If two appear, the physical controller wasn't hidden correctly.

Steam users
  1. Open your Steam controller settings.
  2. Disable Steam Input for Call of Duty.
  3. Restart the game and test your controller again.

Steam can sometimes still let you select the virtual controller even with Steam Input off. If it still doesn't work, confirm all of these:

  • Steam Input is disabled.
  • The virtual controller was created successfully.
  • Your physical controller is hidden in HidHide.
  • Your virtual controller is not hidden.
  • Only one controller appears in-game.
No overlay visible

Simple fix

  1. Close the game.
  2. Reopen the loader.
  3. Inject again.
  4. Start the game and check again.

Still missing

  • Install or repair all required Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables.
  • Install or repair the latest DirectX components.
  • Restart your PC after making changes.
  • Make sure the game is not running in Fullscreen Exclusive.
  • Disable the NVIDIA overlay.
  • Disable the AMD overlay.
  • Disable the Discord overlay.
  • Disable the Xbox Game Bar overlay.
  • Disable any other third-party overlays.
Bluescreens

KERNEL CHECK FAILURE

Usually conflicting drivers, security software, or anti-cheat components.

  • Restart your PC.
  • Check for anti-cheat drivers from other games.
  • Close conflicting applications.
  • Check your antivirus configuration.
  • Check Windows Defender.
  • Verify your VBS configuration.
  • Run the Support Tool again.

RTCore64.sys error

Usually conflicting drivers or Windows security settings. Check: VBS, Core Isolation, the Vulnerable Driver Blocklist, antivirus, and Windows Defender.

  1. Restart your PC.
  2. Run the Support Tool again.
  3. Verify your configuration.
  4. Retry the injection.
Loader / network errors

If the Loader can't connect, download files, or finish loading:

  1. Restart the Loader.
  2. Check your internet connection.
  3. Try a VPN such as ProtonVPN.
  4. Sync your Windows date & time.
  5. Try another DNS provider.
  6. Try another network if possible.
  7. Download a fresh copy of the Loader.
  8. Restart your PC.
Lagging ESP / visual lag

If visuals feel delayed even though your game FPS is normal:

  • Disable Frame Generation.
  • Disable Xbox Game Mode.
  • Lower your in-game graphics settings.
  • Fully close Wallpaper Engine.
  • Disable GPU hardware acceleration in background apps.
  • Disable NVIDIA / AMD overlays.
  • Disable the Discord overlay.
  • Disable the Xbox Game Bar.
  • Disable other unnecessary overlays.
  • Disable G-SYNC where possible.
  • Disable driver-level V-Sync. If you need V-Sync, enable it only inside the game.
  • Close high-resource background applications.

You can also refresh the Windows graphics driver with Ctrl + Shift + Win + B. Your screen may flash or go black briefly while it resets.

Error codes

Before troubleshooting a specific code:

  1. Restart your PC.
  2. Run the Support Tool again.
  3. Make sure your system meets the requirements.
  4. Make sure you're on the latest Loader version.

E2002 / E2003

  • Restart your PC.
  • Retry using a VPN.
  • Make sure Fast Boot is disabled.
  • Make sure you're on an official Windows build.
  • Revert any debloating or optimisation tool changes.
  • Run the Support Tool again.

E2004 / E2001.xx

Usually your system configuration, Windows installation, or connection.

  • Restart your PC.
  • Retry using a VPN.
  • Make sure you're on an official Windows build.
  • Check Defender, HVCI, Memory Integrity and related security settings.
  • Make sure your internet connection is stable.
  • Run the Support Tool and verify your configuration.

C1104 / other C errors

Usually Windows security or virtualization settings.

  • Restart your PC.
  • Check VBS.
  • Check Memory Integrity / Core Isolation.
  • Check your Windows security settings.
  • Make sure Windows isn't waiting for a pending restart.
  • Run the Support Tool again.

N1001 / N1002 / F1101 / B1001 / S1001

Usually network related.

  • Check your internet connection.
  • Restart the Loader.
  • Try a VPN.
  • Try another network.
  • Restart your PC if it continues.

F1102 / B1002 / S1002 / E1001 / E1002

  • Close and reopen the Loader.
  • Download the latest Loader version.
  • Restart your PC.
  • Check whether antivirus or security software is interfering.
  • Verify your system using the Support Tool.

A1001–A1005

Usually account, license, or product related. Make sure:

  • Your license key is correct.
  • You activated the correct product.
  • You're using the correct Loader account.
  • You didn't create multiple Loader accounts.
  • You're on the latest Loader version.

If your license keeps being rejected, open a support ticket.

P1001–P1004

Usually product or loading related.

  • Completely close Call of Duty.
  • Restart the Loader.
  • Make sure BO7 is selected.
  • Check whether the product is under maintenance.
  • Retry the injection.

Other / unknown errors

  1. Restart your PC.
  2. Run the Support Tool and verify your system.
  3. Download the latest Loader.
  4. Run the Loader as administrator.
  5. Retry the process.

If it continues, open a support ticket with the exact error code — that makes troubleshooting much faster than "loader doesn't work".

COD Temp Woofer

4 steps · reboot required
  1. Close the game and the launcher completely, including anything in the system tray.
  2. Run as administrator and pick the disk your game is installed on.
  3. Click Spoof, then reboot when prompted. Skipping the reboot undoes the spoof.
  4. Log back in and confirm the account loads before you queue.

Spoofing process. Only start once your system is correctly prepared.

  1. Download the latest loader.
  2. Make sure Call of Duty is completely closed.
  3. Open the loader.
  4. Create an account with your username and password, if you haven't already.
  5. Log in to your loader account.
  6. Activate your spoofer license key.
  7. Select Spoof.
  8. Start the spoofing process.
  9. Wait until the loader displays Success.
  10. Close the loader.
  11. Start Call of Duty normally.

Don't open Call of Duty while the spoofer is processing.

System Config

Windows and BIOS settings that let our software run. Work through the ones support asks for — each opens with its own steps. Several weaken Windows security, so only change what you're told to and turn it back on when you're done.

Disable Windows Security

Defender, Firewall and SmartScreen

This turns off your live virus protection. Re-enable it when you're finished playing.

Real-time protection

  1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings.
  2. Turn off every toggle: Real-time protection, Cloud-delivered protection, Automatic sample submission and Tamper protection.

Firewall

  1. Open Firewall & network protection.
  2. Turn it off for the Domain, Private and Public networks.

App & browser control

  1. Open App & browser control.
  2. Turn off Check apps and files, SmartScreen for Microsoft Store, and potentially-unwanted app blocking.

Keep Defender off permanently

If Windows keeps switching Defender back on, use Defender Control (dControl), run it as administrator and click Disable. Archive password: sordum

Vulnerable Driver Blocklist

Lets blocked drivers load

Windows blocks drivers with known vulnerabilities. That can also stop legitimate software that depends on those drivers, showing up as a driver error on launch.

Only turn this off if support tells you to. It lowers your protection against bad drivers.

Turn it off

  1. Open Command Prompt as administrator.
  2. Run this command: 
    reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config" /v VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
  3. Restart your PC.

Virtualization-Based Security

Turn off VBS / device guard

Check whether VBS is on

  1. Press Win + R, type msinfo32.
  2. Find Virtualization-based security — "Running" means it's on.

Turn off Core Isolation

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details.
  2. Turn Memory Integrity off, then restart.

Turn off VBS with a script (recommended)

Download disable-device-guard.bat and run it as administrator, then restart.

Get disable-device-guard.bat

Turn off VBS in BIOS (if the script fails)

  1. Enter the BIOS (Del, F2, F10 or Esc).
  2. Go to Advanced / Security / CPU Configuration.
  3. Disable Intel VT-x / AMD-V, Intel VT-d / SVM Mode, and Hyper-V / Virtualization Support.
  4. Save and exit (F10).

Credential Guard

Disable Application Guard

Microsoft Defender Application Guard isolates apps in a virtual environment. That can block software needing direct system access.

  1. Press Win + R, type optionalfeatures.exe and press Enter.
  2. Find Microsoft Defender Application Guard and uncheck it.
  3. Click OK and let Windows apply the change.
  4. Restart your PC — the change only takes effect after a reboot.

Hyper-V & Sandbox

Disable Hyper-V and the hypervisor

Hyper-V is Windows' virtualization platform. Several security features rely on it, and it can stop software that needs direct hardware or kernel access.

Turn off the Windows features

  1. Press Win + R, type optionalfeatures.exe and press Enter.
  2. Uncheck Hyper-V, Windows Sandbox, Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform.
  3. Click OK and let Windows apply the change.

Turn off the hypervisor

  1. Open Command Prompt as administrator and run: 
    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
  2. Restart your PC.

This also disables Windows Sandbox, WSA and some VM software until you turn Hyper-V back on.

Memory Integrity

Turn off Core Isolation

Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) blocks untrusted drivers from loading. If it's on, some software fails to start with a driver error.

Only turn this off if support tells you to.

Via Windows Security

  1. Open Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details.
  2. Turn Memory Integrity off and restart.

Via registry (if the toggle is greyed out)

  1. Open Command Prompt as administrator and run both lines: 
    reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
  2. Restart your PC.

Enable Virtualization

Turn on VT-x / SVM in BIOS

If virtualization is disabled, turn it on in your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI.

  1. Restart and enter the BIOS/UEFI (Del, F2, F10 or Esc).
  2. Find the virtualization setting: Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) on Intel, or SVM Mode / AMD-V on AMD.
  3. Set it to Enabled.
  4. Save and exit (usually F10).
  5. Back in Windows, confirm under Task Manager → Performance → CPU that Virtualization reads Enabled.

The exact location varies by motherboard. If you can't find it, search your board maker and model plus "enable virtualization" on YouTube.

TPM & Secure Boot

Check status, disable only if needed

Many modern games require TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Leave these enabled unless you're certain you need them off — some games won't launch without them.

Check current status

  1. TPM: press Win + R, type tpm.msc. "The TPM is ready for use" means it's on.
  2. Secure Boot: press Win + R, type msinfo32 and read Secure Boot State.

Disable (only if you must)

  1. Restart and enter BIOS/UEFI (Del, F2, F10 or Esc).
  2. TPM: under Security / Advanced / Trusted Computing, set TPM, Intel PTT or AMD fTPM to Disabled.
  3. Secure Boot: under Boot or Security, set it to Disabled. If greyed out, enable CSM / Legacy Boot first, or clear the Secure Boot keys.
  4. Save and exit (usually F10), then re-check the status in Windows.

Anti-Virus Software

Disable or remove antivirus

Antivirus can block our files or kill the process. Temporarily disable or uninstall any third-party antivirus (Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, ESET and similar) while you play.

Remove third-party antivirus

  1. Press Win + R, type appwiz.cpl.
  2. Select your antivirus and click Uninstall, then restart. If it won't uninstall, use the vendor's official removal tool.

Disable Microsoft Defender

  1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings and turn off Real-time protection, Cloud-delivered protection and Tamper protection.
  2. If Defender keeps switching back on, use Defender Control (see Disable Windows Security).

After restarting, Task Manager should show no antivirus processes running.

Anti-Cheat Software

Remove Vanguard, EAC, BattlEye, FACEIT

Standalone anti-cheats from other games can interfere. Remove the ones you're not actively playing.

Riot Vanguard / FACEIT

  1. Press Win + R, type appwiz.cpl.
  2. Uninstall Riot Vanguard or FACEIT Anti-Cheat, then restart.

Easy Anti-Cheat

  1. Open the game's install folder and run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe.
  2. Select the game and click Uninstall.

BattlEye

  1. Open the game's install folder and run Uninstall_BattlEye.bat (or the .exe), then restart.

To play those games again, verify the game files or reinstall — the launcher puts the anti-cheat back automatically.

Disable BitLocker

Decrypt the drive

Wait for the drive to finish decrypting before you reboot. Suspending BitLocker isn't enough — it must be fully turned off.

Windows Settings (Device Encryption)

  1. Open Settings → Privacy & security → Device encryption.
  2. Turn Device encryption off and wait for it to finish.

Control Panel (BitLocker)

  1. Search Manage BitLocker and open it.
  2. Next to your drive, click Turn off BitLocker and wait for decryption.

Command Prompt (admin)

Fixes for common problems once the software is installed. Open the one that matches what you're seeing.

Clear TPM

Reset the TPM to default

The TPM stores encryption keys. Clearing it resets it to default and can fix Secure Boot, BitLocker or TPM-related software issues.

Clearing the TPM erases its keys. Back up your data and BitLocker recovery keys first — this can affect encrypted drives and Windows Hello.

In Windows

  1. Press Win + R, type tpm.msc and press Enter.
  2. Click Actions → Clear TPM.
  3. Read the warning and click Restart. Follow any BIOS prompt during reboot to confirm.

In BIOS/UEFI

  1. Restart and enter BIOS/UEFI (Del, F2, F10 or Esc).
  2. Under Security or Trusted Computing, choose Clear / Erase / Reset TPM (may sit under Intel PTT or AMD fTPM) and confirm.
  3. Save and exit (usually F10). The TPM reinitializes on its own.

Fix Game Crashes

Overlays, drivers, game files

Turn off overlays

  • Discord: Settings → Game Overlay → toggle off.
  • GeForce Experience: Settings → In-Game Overlay → off.
  • AMD Radeon: Alt + R → Settings → Preferences → In-Game Overlay → off.
  • AMD Anti-Lag: Alt + R → Graphics → uncheck Radeon Anti-Lag.

If it still crashes

  • Turn off NVIDIA Reflex and On-Demand Texture Streaming in the game settings.
  • Verify the game files through your launcher.
  • Update your graphics drivers.
  • Run the game as administrator.

Disable Game Mode

Game Mode, background recording
  1. Open Settings → Gaming → Game Mode and toggle it off.
  2. Open Settings → Gaming → Captures and turn off "Record in the background while I'm playing a game".
  3. Optional: Settings → Apps → Xbox Game Bar → Advanced options to terminate it.
  4. If you get stuttering, turn off Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling under Settings → System → Display → Graphics → Change default graphics settings, then restart.

PC Optimization

GPU scheduling, priority, Game Mode

Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling

Turn it off under Settings → System → Display → Graphics, then restart. It can reduce input lag.

Game Mode

  • Windows 10: keep Game Mode off — it can cause FPS drops.
  • Windows 11: keep Game Mode on — it's improved.

Game priority

  1. Launch the game, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Details.
  2. Right-click the game process → Set priority → High.

Never use "Realtime" priority — it can crash your system. Use High only.

Game Optimization

In-game settings for FPS

Display

  • Window mode: Fullscreen Borderless
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9
  • DLSS Frame Generation: never enable

Graphics

  • V-Sync: off
  • HDR: off
  • Graphics preset: low / minimum
  • Motion blur: off

FPS cap

  • 144 Hz monitor: 144–160 FPS
  • 240 Hz monitor: 240–250 FPS
  • A 144–160 FPS cap keeps frame times stable and reduces overheating.
